Before his tenure at Frontline, Roger held the position of Senior Project Manager at Industrial Action Services, Inc. (IAS), a Texas-based turnkey industrial services provider. During his decade-long career at IAS, beginning in 2009, Roger managed complex projects across North America and international markets. His portfolio included accounts in refining, petrochemical, power generation, defense, natural gas transmission, heavy manufacturing, and upstream oil and gas production. Many of these accounts have since aligned strategically with Frontline’s core customer base in the United States.

Roger’s career in the industrial services sector spans over two decades. He began his journey in 2001 before graduating high school, working for an industrial hose company in Houston, Texas. There, he gained hands-on experience designing and fabricating various hoses and pipe fittings, which laid the foundation for his future in the industry.

In 2004, after graduating high school, Roger joined The Hurt Company, Inc., a Houston-based Chevron Fuels & Lubrication Marketer, as part of their Fluid Reliability Services (FRS) division. His technical acumen and leadership potential quickly propelled him from Field Technician to Project Super intendent, where he honed his expertise in fluid management and system reliability.

Innovations and Industry Leadership.

In 2005, Roger transitioned to Reliability Solutions, Inc. (RSI), where he contributed to the development of advanced flushing and system decontamination processes for lubrication and hydraulic systems. During his tenure, he earned certifications as a Machinery Lubrication Technician (MLT) and Machinery Lubrication Analyst (MLA) from the International Council for Machinery Lubrication (ICML), further cementing his status as a subject-matter expert in the field.

In 2009, Roger joined IAS as a Senior Project Manager, where he led large-scale high-velocity oil flushing and chemical cleaning projects. He also delved into varnish mitigation technology, a specialized process designed to prevent and eliminate varnish deposits in oil systems. Driven by a passion for research and development, Roger designed and tested innovative varnish mitigation techniques. His dedication resulted in the creation of a groundbreaking, industry-unique method that proved highly effective and was successfully brought to market.
