Senior Project Manager - Major Projects

Skip Schroeder is the Senior Project Manager for Frontline Global Services, Inc. A Houston, TX -area-based corporation specializing in turnkey industrial services, especially system decontamination, high velocity oil flushing, chemical cleaning, fluid purification and varnish mitigation. Frontline, founded in 2013, is a continuation of prior employment with a previous industrial services company, Industrial Action Services, Inc. (IAS) which was also previously headquartered in the Houston, TX area; with satellite branches in Canada (CAN-AK Industrial Services & IAS Canada, Inc.) and in The Middle East/North Africa Region (IAS Gulf, FZE). Skip is a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Navy and has held various positions in the Engineering Department on various naval surface ships.

Skip holds an associate degree in Business Administration from American Intercontinental University located in Great Lakes, IL.

From March 2021 to the present, Skip has served as the Senior Project Manager for Frontline Global Services. He has been responsible for the Overall Management of all job specifics and employees for Fluid Purification, Micro Filtration and Chemical Cleaning of Turbine Systems. Attend pre-job meetings and determine the scope of projects. Supervise up to 5-20 personnel on any given project. Coordinate/schedule temporary and permanent labor. Schedule/order projects and all job materials, including bill of materials. Set up and execution of projects. Submit daily reports to customers and companies for project progress. Assess strengths of employees and set them to appropriate tasks. Personnel conflict resolution. Assisted with payroll processing. Perform cost evaluation studies and end-of-project reports. Provide training and guidance to company project management as required. Provide a single point of contact for customer interaction for multiple jobs as required. 

From January 2011 to March 2019, Skip served as a Senior Project Manager at Industrial Action Services, Inc., located in Huntington, TX. He has been responsible for the Overall Management of all job specifics and employees for Fluid Purification, Micro Filtration and Chemical Cleaning of Turbine Systems. From 1987-2007 served in the United States Navy. In January 2007, Skip retired from a 20-year career with the United States Navy. Professional Experience in Management as the Recruiter in Charge of the recruiting stations in Sylva, NC (2001-2004) & Akron, Cuyahoga Falls and Wooster, OH (2004-2007). His responsibilities included overseeing the training, production and motivation of the recruiters located at these stations. Accountable for all assigned goals, canvassing the area high schools and colleges and mentoring the Delayed Entry Program enlistees prior to their entry into active Naval service.

Professional Experience in Engineering included the Supervisor in Charge of Engineering Department Main Engine Room, Fuel quality-monitoring lab and Gage calibration lab aboard the USS Robert G. Bradley (1996-2001) Jacksonville, Florida. Responsible for the operation, maintenance, fueling and repairs to two LM2500 Gas Turbine Engines and their associated equipment. Team member of the Damage Control and Engineering Training teams. Duties included training and evaluating group members in their abilities to respond to drills in the engineering plant while it was in operation. He directly supervised 20 individuals in the day-to-day operation of the Engineering Department.
